Pappa Roti

So last November 3, I had my first taste of Pappa Roti's bun. Thanks to my boyfriend who dropped by my house just to give me these 4 yummy buns just exact for the four of us in the family.

Bamboo Kitchen

So it's my last night here in Saudi Arabia and probably the last day of my semestral break. huhu :( We went out to do some last minute shopping and then we had dinner with my uncle at Bamboo Kitchen, Mall of Dhahran.

Country Greatest Cookies

After my friends and I had dinner at Fuddruckers last Tuesday, we were thinking of what could be a nice dessert. My boyfriend who's also a foodie but won't admit it to himself, suggested this absolutely yummy cookie which I think deserves its brand name "Country Greatest Cookies".

Blue Strawberry Restaurant

I have never heard of Blue Strawberry restaurant in my entire stay here in Saudi Arabia. Until last week, one of my close friends, Josephine, invited us to the celebration of her 18th birthday. We arrived at the restaurant earlier than the celebrant. While waiting, the friendly waiter gave us a complementary bread and the menus. My friends and I had fun looking at their extraordinary menu which was filled with variety of food choice. They even offer rabbit for a starter! Enough of the chitchat let's get over on the food! :)

Durrat China

Corniche Avenue is the best hangout place in Al-khobar. It's where famous restaurants are located. Also, the Corniche Park is the main place where people show off their luxurious and cool cars.  I'm not quite sure when Durrat China Restaurant opened but it seems like only few people notice this Chinese Restaurant.

Steak House

Steak house won Excellence in Tourism Awards for being the Best Restaurant in the Kingdom. They just updated their Menu for their 20 year anniversary, offering more varieties of steaks and grills.  The first time I've been to steak house I didn't like it as much as I did last time. Maybe I wasn't that much of a foodie back then. Expect the place to be crowded especially at night. It is recommended for you to make a reservation to avoid waiting, like we did. We arrived at Steak House by 9pm, so we expected that only few people were dining because it's already late for dinner. But no, all the tables were full and there were like three or four families still on the waiting list.

Al-Khobar Traditional Village

Let me welcome you to the famous Al-Khobar Traditional Village. Winner of Excellence in Tourism Awards for having the best traditional food and catering services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. If you want to travel back in time and experience to be in a traditional Arabian house with their traditional food, then this is the place to be. I, myself is a big fan of kabsa. I always crave for it whenever I'm in the Philippines, I'm sure my friends that I grew up with feel the same.

Phuket Restaurant

Every time we eat here, we always bump into someone we know. Phuket is one of the Filipino-friendly restaurants here in Al-khobar. They offer authentic Thai cuisine at an affordable price. We come here whenever my mom is too lazy to cook for dinner or whenever we miss their seafood soup.

Dr. Cafe

My family and I love hanging out at coffee shops where we could talk about random stuff with a drink and sometimes a snack. Whenever there’s a new cafe in town, we find time to try it. Dr. Cafe is no exemption. Sometimes, we’re even the only visitor. But it’s okay, that means we don’t have to be conscious about how loud we talk.

Patchi

Patchi chocolates are originally from Lebanon. They offer different flavors of chocolates that will surely tickle your tastebuds. When you visit a Patchi boutique, well presented chocolates will surround you and make you feel like you're in a royal chocolate party :) I believe there's already a Patchi store in the Phippines located in the Fort, which opened 2 years ago.

Applebee's

Applebee's has become one of my family's favorite restaurants. We usually dine in here when we want to have a light dinner but we always end up having heavy meals.

KUDU

Weekend is a very important time for any of us, for sure. It's the time we get to relax and hang out with our loved ones. My family makes sure that we start our weekend right by having a breakfast at Kudu, if not in IKEA. Then, we stroll the long beach of Aziziyah for a beautiful sight seeing. Making our minds forget the worries and problems we had all through out the week. Like what they say "Start a new life everyday." For us "Start a new life everyweek" lol.

Olio Italian Restaurant

I’ve been to this Restaurant three times based on my facebook map. The first time was my friend’s birthday and the second one was Christmas Day. I can’t remember the third visit. haha! These photos were taken on my friend’s birthday. I forgot to take pictures of the food when we dined it last Christmas. Maybe I was so hungry and excited to eat so I forgot. haha!

Candy Bouquet

After my friends and I had dinner that night at Fushi, we headed to Candy Bouquet, just located at the same building. It was the first time I saw magical candies! Everything was amazing. A bouquet made of candies? what more could be sweeter?! It’s a bit pricey though. But I would really appreciate if someone sends me one :P

Fushi Restaurant

Did you know that this Japanese Restaurant is owned by a Saudi Arabian company? Cool huh. The taste of Arabic food is so different from Japanese cuisine. That’s why I was a bit shocked. Moving on, enough of the “About Us”. Let’s focus on the…FOOD!

This first two photos were grabbed from their Facebook.

Fuddruckers

One of my favorite burger houses is Fuddruckers. The only Fuddruckers I know near me is located at Al-Rashid Mall. I’m not sure if there’s one in the Philipines. I hope there is, it would be such a big hit! Affordable big tasty burgers with unlimited dips. Yep! that’s right! Let me show you some of my photos with my friends at Fuddz.
