Welcome to Mad Mark's Creamery and Good Eats where you can find affordable and yummy steak! This restaurant has a branch in Kapitolyo, Pasig City but we decided to visit their branch located at the 2nd floor of Glorietta 5, Makati City. Mad Mark's is a 'pay as you order' type of restaurant. Get ready for the long queue especially during peak hours. Just a tip, if ever you get caught with the long line, one of you should start looking for table and the other one falls in line. Take your family or friends' orders before doing so. Serving time is 15-20 minutes.
They also have other great choices like chicken or baby back ribs in case you're not in the mood for their specialty, steak. There are three sizes of their signature steak (healthy, regular and feast). The two of us (girls) ordered the healthy steak which was 150grams each and my boyfriend ordered the regular size which was 200grams. Together with that, each of us had a glass of homemade iced tea and shared for the two cups of their homemade ice creams.
Ordering your steak is like DIY.
1. Choose the size (healthy, regular, feast)
Recommended: healthy
2. Choose doneness (rare, medium rare, medium, medium well, well done)
Recommended: medium
3. Choose your sauce (bootstrap, cream mushroom, rajin cajun etc.)
Recommended: rajin' cajun, bootstrap
4. Choose your two sides (plain rice, garden grains, corn, cajun fries, house salad, bacon potato salad, smashed potato, ten-slaw)
Recommended: smashed potato
Regular steak, medium rare done with bootstrap steak sauce, plain rice and smashed potato on the side. Php335
Healthy steak, medium done with cream mushroom sauce, plain rice and bacon potato salad on the side. Php265
Healthy steak, medium done with Rajin Cajun steak sauce, plain rice and shredded corn on the side. Php265

Both were good but their best selling Half Baked Madagascar stood out!
Among the three flavours of steaks that we ordered, Rajin' Cajun won our hearts! We loved the cajun inspired BBQ sauce with mild sweetness and kick. The least that I liked was the steak with Cream Mushroom sauce. It just doesn't complement the steak. The creaminess was too rich. When it comes to their home made ice creams, no doubt that their best selling Half Baked Madagascar is the best! Overall, we would recommend Mad Mark's to our family and friends because of their affordable yet great tasting steaks. Their steaks are not the best but they're great given the reasonable price. We'll surely come back! :)
