Zubuchon, Cebu City | #Sinulog2015

Here's a short review of Zubuchon. Zubuchon is one of the restaurants in Cebu that offers the city's  specialty, lechon. Anthony Bourdain, an American chef and tv personality said that Zubuchon's lechon was the best pig he had ever tasted. The restaurant has the most branch around Cebu city. They also offer ready made pasalubongs such as chicharon, soivenir shirts, and frozen lechon! Once we landed in Cebu to join the Sinulog Festival, we made it sure that our first meal would be Zubuchon's lechon!

Nolita at Bonifacio High Street

I know, I know! My photos suck :( Anyway, after attending a school event in Makati, my classmates and I decided to have dinner at Nolita. Our friend Abby, who's a foodie, recommended it to us. She told us that their pizzas were really good. Who doesn't love pizza? We said 'yes' right away. I was dying to try certain flavors from their menu, too bad all of my choices were not available. So, I picked from the pizzas already displayed during that night.

Galli Village Cafe

Few weeks ago, Abby and I had a sumptuous dinner at Gali Village Cafe together with the other food bloggers. It was a thursday so the traffic was not that heavy. We arrived earlier than the meeting time which was 6pm. There was already a long table prepared for us. This is what I love about blogging, you get to meet new friends not only online but also in person. After waiting for everyone, the highlight of the night began.

Shawarma Guys at The Fort Strip

My friends and I are sometimes on a budget. Yeah, sometimes we splurge and sometimes we're broke. After attending the Mabuhay Germany event and spending our bucks on sausages and imported beers, we had no choice but to have a dinner in a budget friendly restaurant inside BGC. Then, we found Shawarma Guys! It is by far the cheapest eat I've had in BGC. With just Php99, you can already have a Mediterranean meal.

Yummy Food Find: S&R's New York Style Pizza and Southern Style Fried Chicken

I went to accompany my boyfriend in his grocery shopping at S&R Aseana branch which is located near Mall of Asia.  We had our sumptuous dinner first before grocery shopping. Just to clear things out, in order for you to be able to shop and dine at any S&R branch, you should be a member or accompanied by a member. There are two kinds of membership, Gold and Business. Gold has an annual membership fee of Php700 while Business with Php900.

We ordered two flavors of their New York Style Pizza which costs Php99 per slice but they still slice it into two since the pizza's really huge! That's why you see four slices of pizza in the photo even though we ordered just two. We had the Garlic Shrimp and Pepperoni, both are yummy-mazing! They have a new flavor out, Hawaiian which we'll try on our next visit. Aside from the enormous pizza, we tried one of their famous chicken meals, two pieces southern style fried chicken served with gravy and rice. I was quite surprised about the breast part. Most fast food restaurants serve their chicken breast lacking of taste and a bit dry. S&R's fried chicken was tasty without being dry for the breast part and greasy for the other parts. They will also give you small plastic wares for the unlimited condiments. Loved the mayonnaise! For our drinks, we had the Real Leaf iced tea. All of their drinks are unlimited and just cost only Php45. S&R offers delicious comfort food in generous serving. Totally worth your money!
