Zubuchon, Cebu City | #Sinulog2015

Here's a short review of Zubuchon. Zubuchon is one of the restaurants in Cebu that offers the city's  specialty, lechon. Anthony Bourdain, an American chef and tv personality said that Zubuchon's lechon was the best pig he had ever tasted. The restaurant has the most branch around Cebu city. They also offer ready made pasalubongs such as chicharon, soivenir shirts, and frozen lechon! Once we landed in Cebu to join the Sinulog Festival, we made it sure that our first meal would be Zubuchon's lechon!

The lechon is best paired with their famous Kamias Shake which some of us had, they gave us free taste of their shake before ordering. It was very refreshing and quite unique. As for the crispy boneless lechon and sizzling lechon, both had tender meat. You won't be needing a sauce because of the flavourful meat plus the skin! The staff were very accommodating. I really appreciate the recommendation they gave us when we couldn't decide on what to order. They made sure that our orders would fit the nine (hungry) of us. Price were just right. With two kinds of lechon and vegetables, we only paid around Php200 each. Don't forget to try their pork ribs, cassava cake and leche flan. The pork ribs is also a must try! Zubuchon is totally a must try when in Cebu. I took home 500g of their frozen lechon as pasalubong and my aunt said "iba talaga!".
